Nigerian pop star singer, Waje together with Actor Ali Nuhu and lawmaker and star actor, Desmond Elliot, presented a petition made of 187,000 signatures from Nigerians to Bukola Saraki, the senate president at a recent town hall meeting, which held at the National Air force conference centre in Jabi Abuja one Ambassadors.
The petition called on the Federal
Government to Make Naija Stronger by ensuring implementation of the National Health Act, including more resources and better spending to ensure all Nigerians, including the poorest, are able to access health care.
Waje Said in a presentation:
“We believe the AIDS response in this country is undermined by a broader health crisis.”
Desmond urged the senate president to invest more funding to the fight against HIV/Aids and other health issues in the country, while presenting the signed petition.
The senate president, Bukola Saraki, on the other hand reassured Nigerians that the stake holders request for the Allocation of the consolidated Revenue fund to the 2017 budget would be prioritised after receiving the signature.

Make Naija stronger campaign, which started early 2016, is calling on the Federal Government to help save millions of lives and create more healthy, secured and prosperous Nation.
It has also, shed light on the deplorable state of health care in Nigeria. They also organised the town hall meeting.
