Liverpool handed major cause for concern, key man returns home with injury worry
Liverpool ace Sadio Mane has returned home from international duty early as he has reportedly suffered an injury concern.
The 25-year-old was recently sidelined by a hamstring injury which he had picked up on the last international break and in turn kept him out of action for a month.
Having made his comeback against West Ham United, Liverpool fans were delighted to welcome him back into the fold but it appears as though they could be at risk of being without him again.
As per freelance injury analyst Ben Dinnery in the tweet below, the Senegalese FA have confirmed that Mane will return to England with an ‘old injury’ causing him trouble.

Whether that is the hamstring injury isn’t made entirely clear, but whatever the case is, Liverpool will want him back at Melwood as soon as possible in order to give him treatment with the hope that it’s a minor precaution and he’ll be available to face Southampton this weekend.
Klopp has been battling injuries throughout the season thus far with Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne all presenting selection problems for him, and so he’ll be delighted to eventually reach a point where he has an almost full-strength squad at his disposal.
As for Mane though, he’s registered three goals and four assists in just 10 games this season, underlining his importance to the team after a stellar campaign at Anfield last year.
