|Kayode: We Can End Plateau United’s Unbeaten Run|
Olufemi Kayode, Awka United’s goal keeper claims that their side have enough quality
The Promise Keepers have the Peace Boys to contend with in Sunday’s encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday.
Awka United’s s shot stopper disclosed that the team’s loss to Enyimba on Thursday was a bitter pill to swallow but urged his team mates to put against Peace boys on Sunday.
Speaking with Goal.com Kayode said:
“It was so painful having to taste defeat against Enyimba. We didn’t deserve to lose the game in Calabar.”
“I think in the difficult moments everybody has to take his responsibility. We are all men. It’s okay, when we win everybody is
happy and showing his character, but also when we lose we have to show this.
“That’s why we try to improve because we’re still a young team.
“The match with Plateau United is going to be tough because they are good. But we have the quality in our team and we have to believe that we will do our best to take the three points,” he added.
